The first Hymn Sings began as soon as the church had a floor, chairs, and a piano. The only lights were a string of construction lights hanging along where a ceiling would eventually be.
This appears to be very crude but we were thrilled to see the church be so far along in its restoration.
The Christmas Hymn Sings are especially heart-warming.
People sometimes bring instruments to the hymn sings and are invited to join in accompanying the singing.
